Amenities at Heaton Place

The grounds of Heaton Place are maintained by the estate and landscaped in a corporate manner and over the years have been awarded first place in the relevant category of the ‘Colwyn in Bloom’ competition. The estate is quiet and tranquil, and residents are encouraged to take pride in their surroundings.

Heaton Place is equipped with security lighting and a car park for the use of tenants. Although there are no support services on the estate, the Estate Administrator is on site for part of several days of the week.

The Pavilion was opened in 2003 by HRH the Duke of Kent. This purpose-built community centre provides pleasant facilities where tenants can meet socially.

The centre is open every day and also houses the Estate Administrator’s office.

It has a well equipped kitchen and fully fitted laundry facility for use of tenants.

There is a large relaxed informal seating area with provision for different activities.

The tenants organise their own social committee that arranges activities and outings – a social dimension which the Trustees are keen to foster.

Although the Trustees receive many enquiries for accommodation, they are always keen to hear from people in this locality who may be interested.
